Bill Boyer's Retirement Party

On the evening of Sept 20^th, our newly retired Head of School Bill Boyer reminisced at The Spoke Club with a crowd of roughly 230 guests.

 

The event saw attendance from Bill’s entire family, representatives of each of his years as Head of School and beyond, as well as parents, colleagues, and more friends. From 1962 to 2018, reconnections and new connections were made amongst the good company, good food, and good wine. In his remarks, Bill shared anecdotes of his twelve years as Head of School, and he was acknowledged and thanked for his guidance and leadership over so many years. He was presented with a lovely painting of the Foyer—his home and workplace for twelve years—featuring students chatting with him at the Foyer entrance.

 

In addition to thanking Bill, we wish to thank everyone who joined us in his celebration, and who helped honour his time at the school. Congratulations Bill!
