From Janis Rapoport de Miranda '64
Leonard Wilde was by far the most influential adult of my teenage years. He was a visionary who offered many a challenge, with the power to expand mental and intellectual horizons.
Without his inspiration, I would not have dared to reach beyond the boundaries of the ordinary and the mundane nor would I have developed into the traveller and adventurer I became. I have passed on stories of my incredible encounters with Leonard Wilde to my children and grandchildren. What an honour was the privilege of having had Leonard Wilde as such a forward-thinking principal!
